Welter Named Grocery Practice Director at Henderson Engineers

We’re proud to announce Tony Welter as the new grocery practice director at Henderson Engineers. A vice president and part of #TeamHenderson since 2001, Tony has spent his career helping national and regional clients incorporate efficient designs with the latest technology.

Before taking on this new role, Tony was Henderson’s director of refrigeration for 5 years. Henderson’s nationwide grocery practice was previously led by industry-legend, Chuck Robinson, who began his career under the leadership of Fran Henderson who started the firm in 1970. Since our early days, Henderson has been driving innovation by creating building system designs that are still in use by grocery clients today.

Prior to his retirement, Chuck and Tony worked side by side for years to develop the practice and build a wide array of clients, which includes some of the industry’s largest grocers. Now, Tony will apply his 20+ years of technical expertise to ensure Henderson remains at the cutting edge of system design. Thanks for always keeping things cool, Tony – in true Henderson fashion, of course.
