We are big believers in the power of process and as such, we’ve adapted the way we work so that innovation is the natural conclusion of an intentional process as opposed to a mysterious force that eludes all but a few.
Our technical development team at Henderson Engineers is led by our chief technical officer and consists of four pillars (sustainability, BIM/VDC, quality, and innovation), each with their own dedicated directors and staff. This robust leadership structure allows us to rapidly implement changes to our design process and quickly incorporate best practice guidelines from all four pillars across our firm. Because good design requires great building partners to bring it to life, we also offer clients construction experience through our sister company, Henderson Building Solutions. Together as Henderson, we combine engineering knowledge with the ability to procure, commission, and construct building system solutions.
We’re changing the industry by combining engineering knowledge with in-the-field construction expertise. We utilize data intelligence and the latest industry technology including building information modeling (BIM) and virtual design and construction (VDC) to provide our partners with optimized engineering designs. Our goal on every project is to streamline the design and assembly process, to reduce building material waste, and to drive collaboration.
We take our role in the building industry seriously and apply a sustainable mindset to everything we do. We see regenerative design, or designing for abundance, as the focus as we collectively work to design for a brighter, cleaner future. Our sustainability mission is to establish a regenerative design mindset to realize solutions that restore, renew, and replenish sources of energy and materials while benefiting employees, clients, communities, and global ecological systems.
