Healthcare Facilities Today magazine recently published an article on eight considerations for all-electric central plants written by Joe Levin, health sector senior project manager and 18-year Henderson Engineers veteran. The piece highlights the benefits and challenges as hospitals increasingly rely on electricity instead of fossil fuels like natural gas for critical operations including heating and cooling. A key example of successful all-electric implementation is the new Henderson-engineered Prosser Memorial Health Hospital in Prosser, Wash.
