Three projects involving Henderson Engineers and/or sister company Henderson Building Solutions have been recognized in TIME magazine’s roundup of “The World’s Greatest Places of 2024.” The annual list highlights standout destinations that offer “new and exciting experiences” across the globe. The three Henderson projects showcased include:
- CPKC Stadium – Kansas City, Mo.
- The new home of the Kansas City Current of the National Women’s Soccer League, CPKC Stadium is the world’s first purpose-built stadium for a professional women’s sports team. Henderson Engineers served as Engineer of Record while Henderson Building Solutions provided commissioning services for the historic venue.
- Fontainebleau Las Vegas – Las Vegas
- Commissioning and retro-commissioning experts from Henderson Building Solutions helped bring to life this Vegas landmark, a 67-story, 3,644-room luxury hotel that stands as the tallest occupiable building in the state of Nevada.
- The Rabbit hOle – North Kansas City, Mo.
- A 100-year-old warehouse was transformed into a children’s museum featuring immersive exhibits based on renowned children’s books. Henderson Engineers handled mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for the groundbreaking facility, which also houses a full-service bookstore, maker space, and cafe.
