Building Operating Management Features Henderson’s Intuit Dome Project

Intuit Dome, the new home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers, is the world’s first climate positive arena owing to numerous design and construction practices aimed at sustaining people and the planet. Henderson Engineers was the mechanical engineer for the state-of-the-art facility, incorporating sustainable technologies like heat pumps, heat recovery chillers, highly efficient mag-bearing chillers, and arena bowl under-seat supply air distribution. The sports venue’s sustainability credentials are the subject of a feature in the June 2025 issue of Building Operating Management magazine, which dives into how Henderson and other project partners shaped the groundbreaking building.
