Henderson Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, and technology design services for this $23 million, 93,660 SF new public safety facility. The facility includes courts, holding cells, booking/intake areas, police department, fire department, shooting range, data room, as well as a 24-hour critical crisis operation room with 100% emergency back-up. The facility also includes the central 911 dispatch facility for the entire jurisdiction meeting the requirements of NFPA for communications centers. The police department includes administrative offices, investigation areas, patrol, and dispatch departments. Additionally, the facility includes staff areas which house exercise rooms, locker rooms, showers, and restrooms.

The new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are connected to an existing central plant which was modified to accommodate the current system and future expansions. In addition, the entire facility is considered a mission-critical facility.
