On Saturdays in the Fall in Missouri you’ll hear echoes of “MIZ-Z-O-U” throughout the state but nothing rivals the experience at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field. In 2019, the Tigers will complete their largest capital project in Mizzou athletics history, the Memorial Stadium/ Faurot Field South End Zone Expansion.

Henderson Engineers provided building systems design for this LEED expansion project. The project includes demolition of the stadium’s south end zone grandstands to make room for a new football operations area and more premium game day seating options. The new football operations will include team and staff locker rooms, an enhanced sports medicine facility featuring a Hydrotherapy area with recovery pools, HydroWorx and lap pools, sensory deprivation pods, a weight room, indoor training hill, nutrition oasis and equipment room, as well as team and position meeting rooms, coaches offices, grand lobby entrance, and recruiting lounge.

The expansion promotes new opportunities for player/fan traditions including a new field entrance. It will also include more premium seating options including 16 suites, a 750-person field-level club, a 1,254-seat indoor club area with a full kitchen, food service, and restrooms and general seating for 1,300 fans.
