The Griffon Indoor Sports Complex at Missouri Western State University serves as the official training camp home of the Kansas City Chiefs and is utilized year-round by Missouri Western student-athletes, coaches, and administrators in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Constructed to meet NFL specifications, it’s one of the premier facilities in all of NCAA Division II and includes a 100-yard indoor turf field, state-of-the-art locker room for the Griffons football team which can accommodate up to 120 players that is also utilized by the Chiefs, the 5,500-square foot Herzog Strength Training Room, 120-seat team theatre, athletic training room, hydrotherapy zone with two walk-in pools, equipment storage, and laundry facility, as well as classrooms, offices, and meeting rooms for coaches and staff.

The indoor is also often utilized by the St. Joseph community for various events, including banquets, high school and youth sports tournaments, clinics, and showcases.
