KC Live! Phase I KC Live! Phase I

KC Live! is the premier mixed-use entertainment center in the heart of downtown Kansas City. Located within the Power & Light District, KC Live! consists of 405,000 SF of retail, high-energy dance and music clubs, a performance stage, and restaurants. The district also includes more than 200 units (250,000 SF) of residential high-rise (in Phase I), encompassing seven city blocks of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The project also included the historic renovation of the 80,000 SF Empire Theater into AMC Mainstreet (now Alamo Drafthouse) and 2,500 subterranean parking stalls.

Additional phases included high-rise towers, office space, and parking totaling more than $8 million of construction. Coordination efforts included other downtown project teams (over 100 professionals) including H&R Block’s World Headquarters, The Sprint Center, the City’s Capital Improvements Management Office (CIMO), and The Hilton President Hotel.
