Women in STEM YouTube Series Features Henderson Principals

Women in STEM

Henderson Engineers Principals Katelyn DePenning and Andrea Mulvany were recent guests on the Women in STEM YouTube series, a show focused on highlighting the achievements and contributions of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The series is produced by Linda Hall Library in Kansas City, Missouri, the world’s largest privately funded STEM library accessible to the public.

DePenning and Mulvany are part of Henderson’s Venue Sector team and have worked on a variety of notable projects throughout their careers including the upcoming $117 million Kansas City Current stadium. The duo spoke about their professional journeys and how the engineering landscape has evolved for women during their time in the industry. They also touched on some Henderson diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs that are aimed at attracting people of all backgrounds to STEM.
