Henderson’s Mullett Arena Project Featured in Arizona Contactor & Community

Kelly Hyde, sports practice director at Henderson Engineers, was recently interviewed by Arizona Contractor & Community magazine about Mullett Arena, the $134 million ice hockey venue located at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Ariz. As the lead building systems design engineer on the project, Henderson provided acoustical consulting, electrical, fire and life safety, mechanical, plumbing, security, and sustainability design and engineering services. In additional to discussing the project’s outsized community impact, Hyde detailed overcoming challenges that arose when bringing the facility to life, most notably undertaking design and construction at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
