Engineering News-Record

Avondale Visitor & Conference Center, a Henderson Engineers civic project in Avondale, Ariz., that opened in February 2022, is the recipient of a “Best Project, Government/Public Building” award from Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine. In addition to the Discover Avondale visitor center and a conference center, the two-story, 30,000 square foot building is home to offices for the mayor, city council, city management, and other municipal staff. Henderson Engineers was the building systems design engineer for the $10.82 million project, providing audio/visual, electrical, fire and life safety, mechanical, plumbing, security, and telecom design services.
