Henderson Engineers Healthcare Practice Director/Vice President Mark Chrisman was featured in UMKC Today and by the UMKC Alumni Association for his work in helping convert alternative structures into healthcare treatment facilities for coronavirus patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Chrisman holds three engineering degrees (B.S.M.E. ’02, M.S. ’07, Ph.D. ’19) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Computing and Engineering.
Chrisman, who is one of more than 20 Henderson team members with a degree from UMKC, shared how his work has shifted since the onset of COVID-19, what considerations are being taken in converting spaces for patients, why he chose engineering and Henderson, and how his parents and college professors have been great influences in his life.
