Henderson CFO Honored as CFO of the Year

Kansas City Business Journal

Dana Kettle, chief financial officer (CFO) at Henderson Engineers, has been named among the 2022 CFO of the Year honorees by the Kansas City Business Journal. The annual distinction is granted to financial executives in the Kansas City metro area who demonstrate outstanding corporate financial stewardship.

Kettle’s recognition follows her spearheading of the launch of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which transitioned Henderson Companies, Inc., the parent company of Henderson Engineers and Henderson Building Solutions, to becoming 100% employee owned. As a recent Henderson board member, she was furthermore intimately involved in the selection process that appointed Kevin Lewis as the new CEO and President of Henderson Engineers and President of Henderson Companies in early 2022. In all, Kettle’s nine-year tenure as CFO has been the most successful period is Henderson’s history with the company doubling in personnel and revenue by reaching 1,000 employees and $197MM, respectively.
