Phoenix Central Station Redevelopment Phoenix Central Station Redevelopment

Demand for better accessibility and housing has led to the rise of Transit Oriented Developments across the country. Phoenix Central Station, the city’s downtown transit hub, will soon become a transit-oriented development with offices, residential, and retail components. Comprising 2.6 acres, the project will activate a full city-block into a bustling mixed-use development while redefining Phoenix’s skyline with two, 33-story and 22-story, high-rise towers.

In keeping with the purpose of this hub, efficiency and schedule were just as important as design. The manufacturing of the structure’s framing and interior walls for the residential apartments is done offsite. Having prefabricated MEP walls allows for faster installation onsite, increasing the quality and consistency of the construction.

The project is also pursuing the City of Phoenix Sustainability Credits, which will reduce the required onsite parking. We are providing an energy model to document a 5%+ reduction in power consumption.
