The new South End Zone Facility building is located between the south end area of Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium (BSFS) and north end area of Bramlage Coliseum. The two phase project included 60,000 SF of new construction and 9,500 SF of renovated concourse areas adjacent to the new South Club. The project entailed expanding and updating the Legends Room event space and full-service kitchen; and providing a new premium Club, new loge and suite seating located above the existing concourse level, a new mezzanine level office space above the South Club space, and a new concourse level public restrooms and concession stands for fans in the south end. New video boards in southeast and southwest corners of the stadium and a distributed sound system were also installed.
Exterior improvements included a new west side entry to Bramlage Coliseum and Bill Snyder Family Stadium, new entry gates that allow for staged entry times, and a new terraced dining area located in the north end of Bramlage Coliseum seating bowl.
Our fire protection and code-consulting scope of services included two new DAKTRONICS video boards with fire and life safety visual messaging for BSFS stadium installed during Phase 1. During Phase 2a, a new three-floor SEZ building was expanded and connected to the north side of Bramlage Arena, and Phase 2b included a full fire alarm and sprinkler upgrade to Bramlage Arena.
