Henderson Engineers was involved with the historic Olympic Theater retail restoration to become H&M’s fashion forward and higher end brand, COS’ Los Angeles flagship location. COS will bring the Olympic Theatre back to life with two levels of retail along with offices and stockroom in the basement.

Originally built in 1927, the Olympic Theatre is within the vicinity of the Broadway Theater District in downtown Los Angeles. The Broadway Theater District features the first and largest historic theater district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Also, the Broadway Theater District is the core of the City of Los Angeles’ 10-year plan, Bringing Back Broadway, a public-private partnership initiative to revitalize and reactivate more than a million square feet of vacant commercial space.
