Mischa Haramia, entertainment practice director at Henderson Engineers, was recently interviewed for the June 2023 issue of VenuesNow as part of the magazine’s ongoing “Faces & Places” feature. In celebration of Pride Month, the conversation focused on Haramia’s experience as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Haramia, a 34-year industry veteran, shared her experience coming out at work, the inspiration behind her advocacy for equality and equity, and pointers on how companies can better support LGBTQIA+ employees.
