K-State Grants Professional Progress Award to Henderson Executive

Jason Wollum, chief sector officer and principal at Henderson Engineers, is a 2023 recipient of the Professional Progress Award from the Kansas State University (K-State) Carl R. Ice College of Engineering in Manhattan, Kan. The award, whose recipients are independently chosen by faculty, honors accomplished K-State alums within business, philanthropy, and more.

Wollum, who has been with Henderson since 1997, graduated from K-State with an architectural engineering degree and has blossomed into a top leader in his field. He has held a variety of progressively responsible roles throughout his Henderson tenure including leading Henderson’s retail sector before earning a promotion to the C-Suite. Wollum’s distinction extends to his personal life, where he currently serves as chair of the chairman’s circle for the American Cancer Society’s Kansas City chapter.
