Henderson’s Technical Expertise at Hy-Vee Arena Detailed in KC Business Journal

The technical prowess of Henderson Engineers was featured in a Kansas City Business Journal article about the firm’s services at Hy-Vee Arena. Director of Life Safety Paul Villotti shared details about the fire code modification that he and Director of Forensic Engineering Bob Renton successfully achieved with the city’s appeals board that resulted in $1 million in savings to the owner of the facility, Foutch Brothers.

Project Manager James Dietz was also interviewed for the article that included a video further detailing the project that is the first of its kind in the United States with a second floor added to an existing arena. Along with Villotti, Renton, and Dietz, Marcus Perry — lead electrical engineer for Hy-Vee Arena — was also featured in the video.
