The recent Henderson Engineers Thought Leadership article, Converting Alternative Structures for Coronavirus (COVID-19) Patients, was published and shared by four major industry publications. It was posted by Building Design + Construction, Consulting-Specifying Engineer, IAVM, and shared on Twitter by Medical Construction & Design. The piece was written by Henderson Healthcare Practice Director/Vice President Mark Chrisman, Healthcare Technical Leader Jake Katzenberger, and Convention Center Practice Director/Vice President Russ Murdock.

Our healthcare system has been pushed beyond capacity by the ever-growing number of COVID-19 patients, and the article addresses the need for hospital beds, ventilators, personal protective equipment (PPE), and isolation rooms has vastly outstripped the available supply, and the country is looking for spaces to repurpose into healthcare service.
