Henderson Mentioned in Springfield Business Journal

With Kum & Go building a new $1.68 million, 6,200 SF fuel and convenience store in Springfield, Missouri, Henderson Engineers earned a mention in the Springfield Business Journal. Store No. 1554 is scheduled for completion in November and received mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design from our Henderson grocery, restaurant, and retail colleagues.

Kum & Go is replacing a nearby store in an aging building with limited space to the company’s new Marketplace design. The updated concept was introduced in early 2016 and is designed with six gas dispensers and fresh food inside. New stores will have energy-efficient features, including LED lighting and low-flow water fixtures.

In the Springfield area alone, Kum & Go operates 46 stores and is investing $30.5 million. To read the full profile written by Eric Olson, go to http://www.sbj.net/stories/from-the-ground-up-kum-go-no-1554,55346.
