Chris Constant

Code Consultant
A fire protection engineer specializing in code consulting, Chris spends his days helping clients ensure their buildings are safe for occupants in emergency situations. Whether that means reviewing designs for code conformance, fire and smoke modeling, creating life safety drawings, or diving into code variances to create alternate design approaches, Chris is a collaborative and out-of-the-box thinker who thrives on finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.

As Henderson’s code consulting director, Chris knows that his role on a project often means being asked difficult questions that haven’t been answered before – but that’s his favorite part. It’s Chris’s belief that the mark of a good code consultant is the ability to foresee issues and address them early in design to save the project both time and money. With an acute attention to detail and a commitment to good communication, it’s no surprise that clients, team members, and AHJs alike, all enjoy working with Chris.
