This program recognizes companies in the greater Kansas City area for “innovation and excellence in promoting a culture of health in the workplace.” Henderson’s approach to the fives pillars of health (healthy eating, active living, tobacco cessation, work-life integration, and design-built environment) were considered in this designation.
