Condron Family Ballpark - University of Florida Condron Family Ballpark - University of Florida

Florida Gators baseball is well known in the collegiate baseball world. A regular at the College World Series (CWS), the program was ready for an upgrade to their facilities for players and fans.

Henderson Engineers was part of this new 4,000-permanent-seat, expandable to 10,000-seat, ballpark design. Areas designed for fans include a club level, food truck level, student section, family area, enhanced concession options throughout the ballpark, and traditional chairback as well as berm-seating. Top of mind for design considerations was finding a way to make games more comfortable in the Florida heat for fans and players on gamedays.

Gator student-athletes have access to new state-of-the-art training amenities including indoor pitching tunnels, a larger locker room, a larger player lounge, turf practice field, a private nutrition area, video and team meeting rooms, indoor pitching and batting cages, and enhanced training and rehabilitation areas. Players, coaches, and fans also have access to the latest in technology throughout this new facility. The project is 3 Green Globes Certified, the first stadium of its kind to achieve this certification.

Henderson was proud to help the Gators design their new home and continue their tradition as a top baseball program.
