Architectural Digest recently got an exclusive look at The Ford Center at The Star, the headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys in Frisco, Texas. Henderson provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and architectural lighting services for the 1.3 million SF state-of-the-art facility which is home to one of the most prominent sports franchises in the world. We worked with Gensler, who served as lead architect for the project.
Inside the headquarters, our Henderson team led the system design for the Cowboys executive offices, restaurant, meeting spaces, broadcast services, and clinic. Our colleagues also led the MEP design for the Cowboys practice facility. The coaches’ offices, locker rooms, and two outdoor practice fields emphasize sustainability, utilizing counter flow chillers to minimize energy use.
Throughout the 91-acre campus, we designed systems for key Cowboys partners, including Bank of America and Nike. Our team also directed systems designs for the Omni Hotel, a full-service upscale hotel located within the complex.
AD interviewed Cowboys Owner, President, and General Manager Jerry Jones and Executive Vice President/Chief Brand Officer Charlotte Jones Anderson, his daughter.
