Flann’s Vaccine Cold Storage Interview Picked up by Yahoo! News

Henderson Engineers Principal/Healthcare Practice Leader Jon Flann was previously interviewed by 41 Action News in Kansas City to share how Henderson can assist clients in designing for ultra-low temperature storage for vaccines, and now the piece has been picked up nationally by Yahoo! News. Flann spoke with Reporter Dan Cohen about logistical considerations to store the vaccine.

He noted that Henderson’s healthcare team has followed rollout contemplations of the vaccine since early in the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As that information started coalescing, we’ve been able to react and say, ‘Let’s fill in those gaps that we started with and find a true solution that works for each one of these vaccines that might come out,'” Flann noted.

More information regarding the stability and viability parameters for potential COVID-19 vaccines will likely be released soon. As this information comes out, you can count on us to continually work on storage solutions alongside you. As you consider your ultra-low temperature storage options, please contact Henderson if you have questions or need assistance.
