CPSM

Chief Strategy Officer | Chair of the Board
As passionate about the AEC industry as she is about cheering on her beloved Royals, Chiefs, and Hawkeyes, Robin is an experienced executive who brings a unique perspective to her role as Henderson's Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). With three decades of experience, as CSO Robin is responsible for setting the long-term strategic focus for Henderson Companies, the parent company for both Henderson Engineers and Henderson Building Solutions. Her purview includes developing the five-year strategic plan to elevate innovation and client experience initiatives, investigate new business opportunities, and prioritize employee engagement. She also oversees the marketing, business development, and client experience teams who are involved in bringing that strategy to life. Additionally, as Chair of the Board since 2022, Robin leads the nine-member Board made up of both internal and independent directors challenging them to step out of an operational mindset to think broader and more strategically regarding the Board’s fiduciary oversight of the organization.

Robin is also passionate about building cohesive and highly productive teams who deliver quality work and have fun along the way. As a supporter of employee-owned companies, Robin was an early champion for converting Henderson to an ESOP in 2021 and has led efforts to educate and engage Henderson’s employee-owners since. She also loves presenting and helping others reach their full potential. As such, she’s developed and taught several classes within our Henderson University curriculum, as well as spoken nationally at conferences for SMPS (the Society for Marketing Professional Services), ASHRAE (American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers), DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America), and more on topics such as “soft” skills for technical staff and empowering employees to become brand ambassadors.
