Venue Sector Sports Practice Director
A former K-State Wildcat football player, Sean knows firsthand what athletes need to be successful on gameday. He also understands what it takes to deliver placemaking and innovative designs to create memorable experiences for fans and eventgoers. His design portfolio includes multiple practice facilities, stadiums, and arenas, both collegiate and professional. Sports have always been a passion in his life so he will continue to make game-changing environments as the venue sector sports practice co-director.

Initially, Sean started at Henderson Engineers as a mechanical design intern for three summers and part-time throughout the school year. During his 2008 internship, he worked closely with our BIM team to develop Revit standards and families in preparation for Henderson’s first Revit project, the Matthew Knight Arena at the University of Oregon. Since then, Sean had steadily grown his career to include project management and business development. His ability to manage multiple design aspects while staying focused on the end goal allows him to identify solutions and meet aggressive project schedules. Sean also has a knack for developing relationships and becoming a trusted advisor for his clients which is why they often ask for him by name.
