Building Design + Construction magazine recently interviewed Mark Chrisman, healthcare practice director at Henderson Engineers, for an article about how COVID-19 has altered the speed and design of healthcare projects.
Chrisman, who leads a group of engineering experts that has been helping several healthcare providers around the country navigate the pandemic, explained how the health crisis initially shifted the types of projects Henderson took on. He also discussed the ongoing trend toward permanent isolation rooms and shared insights into the future of sustainability and resilience within the industry.
