The Los Angeles Convention Center Expansion is transforming one of the nation's premier event destinations into a more connected, resilient, and future-ready venue. As Los Angeles prepares to welcome the world for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, these improvements strengthen the convention center's ability to support one of the largest global sporting events while creating lasting value for the city long after the closing ceremony. By uniting the existing South and West Exhibit Halls through a 190,000 SF expansion, the project will create a seamless exhibition space capable of hosting larger conventions, trade shows, and international events. New meeting rooms and a multipurpose venue with an outdoor terrace will add flexible spaces designed to host events year-round.
