Lewis Palmer High School Career & Innovation Center (CIC) Renovation – Lewis-Palmer School District 38

The renovation of the Lewis Palmer High School Career & Innovation Center needed to support expanded career and technical education offerings in advanced manufacturing, engineering, construction trades, and welding. As Lewis-Palmer School District 38 looks to further innovation as they prepare students for the workforce, the facility needed to also plan for future phases supporting computer science and healthcare programs.

Henderson Engineers worked closely with the owner and project partners to create a flexible design that could adapt as program, equipment, and technology needs evolved. With much of the equipment donated and final selections changing throughout the project, our team planned for a range of scenarios to ensure equipment could be properly supported as it arrived. Through close coordination and creative problem-solving, Henderson helped the team navigate gaps in equipment information, make critical decisions, and create adaptable spaces that can continue to evolve alongside the district’s career and technical education programs.
