Ford Center Stadium & Training Facility – Dallas Cowboys
In 2015, the Dallas Cowboys introduced The Ford Center at The Star, a state-of-the-art practice facility in Frisco, Texas. Serving as the franchise’s world headquarters, we were proud to collaborate with them on this 91-acre, multi-phase project.
Inside the headquarters, Henderson Engineers led the system design for executive offices, restaurants, broadcast services, and a clinic. We also provided design for the practice facility including the coaches’ offices, locker rooms, and two outdoor fields. The design focused on sustainability by utilizing counterflow chillers to minimize energy use and LED lighting for the indoor playing field.
Throughout the campus, we designed systems for key Cowboys partners including Bank of America and Nike. The campus includes the Omni Hotel, a 300-room hotel that was also engineered by our team, and will host fans and visitors from around the world for an immersive Cowboys experience.
