Henderson Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, architectural lighting and security design services for this approximately 169,000 SF, $60 million new spring training complex in Mesa, Arizona. Located on a 96-acre site, key components of this project include: a new ballpark with fixed and berm seating for 15,000 patrons, a new 50,000 SF clubhouse locker facility, three major league practice fields, four minor league practice fields, and covered batting tunnels. Additionally, the ballpark includes suites, restrooms, concessions, press box and team facilities. The new clubhouse includes locker room facilities, training and conditioning rooms, dining, meeting rooms, theater/multipurpose room, and offices.
