Venue Professional Magazine Highlights Henderson’s Baird Center Expansion Project

Henderson Engineers recently completed a groundbreaking $456 million expansion of Milwaukee’s Baird Center, the largest convention center in Wisconsin. The company’s contributions as Engineer of Record for the project are the subject of a feature in the September/October 2024 issue of Venue Professional Magazine, the official publication of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM). The piece details various sustainable building systems design approaches, including Henderson’s incorporation of the city’s existing downtown district steam loop to generate hot water and to provide heating for the 1.3 million square-foot facility.
