Danny McGrail, science and technology practice director at Henderson Engineers, has earned the 2023 40 Under 40 Award from Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine, a leading trade publication. The accolade is given annually to 40 nonresidential building industry professionals ages 40 and younger who stand out for continued success in their professional and personal lives.
McGrail was selected for the honor given his technical and business acumen as the Henderson practice leader overseeing multimillion dollar projects that involve designing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) environments. His personal differentiators include various initiatives such as leadership within the Heart of America Chapter of the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) and his past selection for the coveted AIA Kansas City Pillars Leadership Program.
