Venue Professional Magazine Highlights Henderson’s KC Current Stadium Project

KC Current, the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team based in Kansas City, Mo., is set to open the world’s first stadium purpose-built for a professional women’s sports team. Henderson Engineers is serving as the lead building systems design engineer on the $117 million project and the firm’s engineering and design team for the facility is fittingly women-led. This historic endeavor is featured in Venue Professional Magazine’s January/February 2023 issue with insights from Henderson Principals Katelyn DePenning and Andrea Mulvany, two of the firm’s key project leads.
