The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), a leading authority on architectural lighting design, has granted Merit Awards to two Henderson Engineers projects. The honor is part of IES’ 2024 Illumination Awards, which recognize “professionalism, ingenuity and originality in lighting design.”
The two Henderson Merit Award recipients are:
Henderson provided lighting design services as Engineer of Record for this $92 million facility, the largest athletics project in the history of Auburn University. Spanning 12 acres, this football performance center includes a 233,428 square foot main building that houses an indoor practice facility, equipment development lab, player development lab, sports medicine facilities, and more.
This new two-story training center for the Jacksonville Jaguars professional football team features indoor and outdoor practice fields, locker rooms, medical facilities, viewing stands, concession stands, office space, meeting rooms, and a team store. Henderson provided architectural lighting and a host of other design services as Engineer of Record for this $120 million project.
