Henderson Engineers Life Safety Expert Discusses Venue Safety on IAVM Podcast

Henderson Engineers Director of Life Safety Paul Villotti was the featured guest on The Venue, the official podcast of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM). Villotti and host Greg Wolfe, education manager for IAVM, discussed false fire alarms and preventative measures to assist venue operators.

Villotti shared ways to reduce alarms along with providing the safest possible experience for fans at large event locations. He stressed the importance for venue managers to prioritize maintenance and to stay current on fire alarm system design, with additional features continually available.

Known as a “human codebook”, Villotti has more than 35 years of fire & life safety and code consulting experience. He has implemented leading strategies in more than 400 assembly venue projects worldwide.
