The Jagger The Jagger

The Jagger is one of the many multi-family projects arising in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Palms. With the passing of Measure JJJ and the Transit Oriented Communities guidelines, the city is allowing developers to build with reduced parking requirements if the development is located around transit stops. The Jagger, only walking distance from the Expo light rail station, will feature 74 units of studios and one bedrooms layouts with 94 parking spaces.

With a distinct saw-tooth rooftop, The Jagger will bring street improvements, activating the Overland Street with a new restaurant, a café, and outdoor courtyards for the public and residents’ enjoyment. To achieve the desired façade, Henderson Engineers extensively coordinated the placement of HVAC louvers with the façade material for an integrated look. The project was designed for automatic parking, however it was later removed at 80% thru design. However, Henderson provided specific electrical provisions for six pedestal mounted EV Charging stations for a combination of van and standard parking spaces within the parking garage.
