Stride Bank Center Stride Bank Center

Formerly called the Enid Event Center, Henderson Engineers was involved with this two-part project. Both facilities were designed for LEED Certification and included the construction of a new, two-story, 75,000 SF event center and the renovation of an existing 1920’s-era convention hall. With 5,000 seat capacity, Central National Bank Center has become the premier entertainment venue used for concerts, conferences, and high school basketball and volleyball games for downtown Enid.

Key components for the 50,000 SF renovation of convention hall included of an 11,000 SF Grand Ballroom, 3,000 SF Benson Ballroom, lobby, full kitchen, two multi-purpose rooms, six meeting rooms, and two pre-function spaces.

Additionally, Henderson provided architectural lighting design services through design development phase. A component of the architectural lighting includes the refurbishment of the historic luminaires located within the convention hall.
