For the New York retail world, the challenge of providing unique sophisticated environments is key to survival in this competitive market sector. That driving factor was at the forefront of lighting design decisions for the Harman Flagship location embedded within the heart of Manhattan.

Inspired by the award-winning reputation and technology of the Harman brand, Henderson Engineers brought the lighting concept design to life and pushed the technology boundaries to create a venue that builds upon auditory senses with a complimentary visual experience. Blue LED lines are integrated into backdrop details and kiosks to add visual interest along the perimeter while delicately balancing the foreground lighting and adding playful, dramatic effects. Integration of custom dropped acoustic ceilings resembling high-tech auditory baffling, 24 watt 3,000K. 16-degree LED accent lights were used to create the primary hierarchy lighting zone of horizontal product displays.
