As one of the premier performance venues in northwest Arkansas, the Walton Arts Center brings out the sights and sounds of some of the best entertainers in the nation. Henderson Engineers is proud to have been a part of the multi-million renovation and expansion efforts to bring this space new life.

The expanded facility includes an extra 30,000 square feet of overall space. We applied our expertise to significant renovations and expansion of the Starr Theater to include an additional 225 seats of occupancy. The lobby, front-of-house, and concession areas all received a new face lift with upgraded building systems support. Renovations included equipping the facility with more room for back-of-house technical and theatrical equipment, among other improvements.

Outside of musical performances, the Walton Arts Center brings in some the best talent in visual art exhibitions. As the state’s largest and busiest arts presenter, this venue sees more than 195,000 people a year from neighboring states and beyond. Truly a community space, this beautiful multipurpose facility was built and designed so performances, rehearsals, receptions, weddings, reunions, and more can find a home in “The Natural State.”
