Customers know they can count on this confidential client to deliver them just about anything they need, big or small. A key part of their success for the extra large warehouses, which are delivery hubs for larger products strategically placed close to where the customers are. Henderson Engineers and Henderson Building Solutions worked together on several of these warehouses across the country. This program required extensive coordination with the controls company contracted with Henderson's client. The controls company notified us when all of their work was done and we were able to go on-site and perform functional testing for the building systems. While we were on-site, we collaborated with them over the phone to ensure the remote controls for the building systems were functioning properly; Henderson’s job was to ensure all system glitches were worked out before turning over the building to our client.

This client assigns a unique asset tag to all of their building assets, which makes it easier to track the progress of commissioning and performance throughout the life of the building. Henderson was responsible for entering all building assets into their system, called the IOQ Asset system. Throughout this process, we checked the status of all building assets and flagged the ones that needed extra attention from the contractor before the building was tuned over to the end users. This process also set-up the database for the owner so that they would continue to be able to track building assets for years to come.
