Basketball Performance Center - University of Arkansas Basketball Performance Center - University of Arkansas

Designing a successful facility involves creating a system that can be maintained throughout the life of the building. One of the keys to our continued success with the University of Arkansas has been an outstanding relationship with their leadership and facilities groups. Henderson has worked on a wide variety of campus projects over the past six years, collaborating with the university on system types, details, and preferred vendors.

The new practice facility provides spaces for athletes, coaches, and staff members to use daily while enhancing the university’s basketball program operations. A state-of-the-art video coaching system with remote-operated cameras allows the team to review video footage recorded during practice. This project used an integrated design approach that included coordination with a commissioning agent throughout and is LEED Gold certified.
