1410 Highland 1410 Highland

Henderson Engineers is working on a ground up, six-story, mixed-use, co-living apartment building in Hollywood. The project consists of a single subterranean parking level, which utilizes a stacking vehicle puzzle park system, along with a 1,200 SF ground floor commercial space. Amenities at 1410 Highland feature an indoor/outdoor resident lounge and fitness center on the second floor podium level as well as a spa, dog run, and BBQ area located on the rooftop.

Henderson designed the HVAC system to utilize premium efficiency Variable Refrigerant Flow Heat Recovery Systems (VRF) with the condensing units located on the roof. The heat recovery system designed allowed for localized controllability via dedicated fan coil units within each of the bedroom suites. Full fire and life safety systems throughout the facility include modern notification and detection systems as well as detailed sprinkler design carefully coordinated with the automated parking system that is LAFD approved. The electrical design of the space includes the provision of lighting circuiting and controls, circuiting of the power and data receptacles, and Title 24 compliance. For the commercial space, Henderson provided a cold dark shell design including a grease interceptor for future restaurant build out.
