Henderson Welcomes Bob Renton

What do sailors and firefighters have in common? Aside from their dapper threads, their number one nemesis is fire.

Smoke, heat, and flames send most people running the opposite direction; but not Bob Renton. Now Henderson’s newest senior code consultant, Bob spent the last 25 years working as a first responder, investigator, and prevention specialist for the City of Lenexa’s Fire Department in Lenexa, Kan.

“I feel blessed to be able to join Henderson’s fire safety team and work with some of the best in the industry,” Bob said. “It’s a perfect match to pair my investigation and fire safety experience with the talented engineering expertise at Henderson.”

Although Bob’s firefighting days are over, he still enjoys a good jolt of adrenaline through his passion for competitive sailing.
