Henderson Engineers article, Getting in the Game: The History of Venue Design at Henderson Engineers, was recently featured in the IAVM Region 6 January 2021 Newsletter.

Founded in 1970, Henderson was first recognized primarily as a retail design firm. Over the years, Henderson has diversified into other vertical markets including venue. A one-stop shop, Henderson provides their venue clients with a wide range of engineering services.

Today, Henderson has completed high-profile venue design projects for convention centers, expo centers, performing arts, and collegiate and professional teams across the country, in every major sport. Led by Kevin Lewis, Henderson’s venue practice has grown from 10 employees to more than 120 nationwide, and Henderson can regularly be found on industry lists, including Building Design+Construction magazine’s annual ranking of sports facilities engineering firms.
