Henderson Engineers was noted in a Springfield Business Journal article by Eric Olson about a ground-up Kum & Go Marketplace at 1810 E. Kearney St. in Springfield, Missouri. Henderson provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services for the 6,000 square feet, $1.48 million project. The convenience store is set to open later in the first quarter of 2019.
Other members of the design team included BRR Architecture, S&W Construction, Olsson Associates, and Johnston Burkholder Associates.
A portion of the original U.S. Route 66 runs through the property and the city building permits noted that a themed sign for the historical route will honor the site.
