Whether she's setting our internal strategy to further personal and professional growth, schooling her coworkers on the golf course, or cheering on her alma mater, the Kansas Jayhawks, Angie does it all with passion, positivity, and determination. As Henderson Engineers’ principal for talent acquisition and development, she’s constantly striving to implement or improve continuous learning for our team that aligns with our vision, purpose, business goals, and desired leadership behaviors.
Angie previously served as our director of project management, where she saw oversaw the technical tools, resources, and ongoing internal technical trainings that keep our employees performing at the top of their game. Angie started her career with us in 2004 designing and reviewing fire protection systems and building codes before switching her focus to developing project standards and training. In addition to her commitment to quality engineering, Angie also leads Henderson’s women’s network, Empow[HER], to help propel women within the company through collaboration and connections. She also regularly steps up to promote STEM skills and serve as a mentor to students who are interested in engineering.
